Where you'll work: This is a

hybrid onsite/remote

opportunity where you will report to the customer location in Falls Church, VA and have the flexibility to work from home based on business needs.

An average day: As Technical Writer II, you will play a key role in creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for complex technical solutions. This position focuses on gathering information from cross-functional teams, synthesizing data, and producing materials that enhance understanding and drive project success. In this position you will: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture technical requirements and translate them into clear, user-friendly documentation. Develop and maintain comprehensive guides, manuals, and standard operating procedures for software applications, data pipelines, and AI/ML tools. Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organizational standards. Analyze stakeholder needs to determine the scope and content of documentation deliverables. Maintain version control of all documentation to track changes, updates, and revisions. Assist in structuring and organizing document repositories for streamlined knowledge sharing across teams. Participate in requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews to collect vital technical information. Create visual aids such as flowcharts, diagrams, and illustrations to complement written documentation. Ensure compliance with DoD/federal data standards, policies, and security guidelines in all published materials. Work with team members to continuously improve documentation quality and standardization processes. Update and revise documentation based on feedback, evolving project requirements, and new data governance policies. Support the creation of content for presentations and training materials related to new or updated technical solutions. Proactively communicate documentation timelines, status updates, and potential issues to stakeholders.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:

As a requirement of this position, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen. In accordance with 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(2)(C), Epsilon will not consider candidates for this position who do not meet the aforementioned conditions. Three years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or related field. Proficiency with documentation and project management tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub) to track changes and manage document updates. Experience producing high-quality technical materials tailored to a wide range of audiences. Understanding of DoD/federal data standards and the associated compliance requirements. Ability to translate complex technical information into straightforward, concise language. Basic knowledge of data analytics or software development methodologies. Experience with AI/ML concepts and data pipelines is advantageous. Excellent organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity Other:
