Our reputable organization is seeking an innovative, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Mechanical Designer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, with exceptional knowledge of 3D drafting, Solidworks, PDM, Mil-STD, and As9100. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to contribute to our dynamic engineering team. The successful applicant will be a part of a collaborative environment, where they will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical solutions to meet our project requirements. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities:
1. Utilize Solidworks and PDM to design and develop mechanical components and systems.
2. Prepare detailed 3D drafts and designs of mechanical equipment and systems.
3. Ensure all designs adhere to the necessary industry standards, including Mil-STD and As9100.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze design proposals, specifications, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
5. Participate in design reviews, providing effective technical input.
6. Perform complex calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
7. Inspect and analyze prototypes and finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
8. Continually update technical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:
1. Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical design, preferably within the engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in Solidworks and PDM is essential.
4. Demonstrable experience with 3D drafting and mechanical design.
5. Familiarity with Mil-STD and As9100 standards.
6. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and performance.
10. Willingness to keep abreast of industry advancements and technology.
