Primary Focus
This initiative was established to drive cost savings through the consolidation of state IT assets and resources. Additionally, it plays a key role in leading the state's technology procurement process, standardizing technology across the organization, and improving operational efficiency, maintenance, and scalability of new solutions that can be extended to all relevant agencies.

Responsibilities
Advise the State on strategies to reach a particular audience.
Determine the message the design should portray.
Develop graphics for logos and websites.
Select colors, images, text style, and layout.
Present the design to the State.
Incorporate changes recommended by the State into the final design.
Utilize specialized graphic design software to prepare designs.
Plan site design by clarifying goals; and designing functionality.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
3 Years’ experience on designing graphics
Expertise in Software proficiency: Be proficient in graphic design software
Expertise in Quality control: Ensure all materials adhere to branding guidelines and are of high quality in terms of resolution, color accuracy, and design
Expertise in Deadline Management: Meet project deadlines
Bachelor’s Degree – Any Field
Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s Degree – Any Field
Minimum Skills:
Must possess problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to respond effectively to customers with a sense of urgency
Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
Highly motivated with the ability to handle and manage multiple tasks at any one time
Ability to forge new relationships, individual and teaming in nature
Must be a Self-starter, that can work independently and as part of a team
Reports to:
Account Manager
Working Conditions
Professional remote office environment
Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position
Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace
Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen
May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays
May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes
May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours
