Overview
Lutron has an immediate opening for a Video/Photo Producer - Project Manager to join our communications team in our Conshohocken office location. As the department responsible for creative development and execution, the Communications team partners with the marketing teams to develop compelling and on-brand marketing material. As Video/Photo Producer, you will manage all aspects of photo and video production within the department. You will collaborate closely with the creative team, program managers, and marketing to facilitate the successful execution of photo and video needs to support product launches and marketing campaigns. You will understand pre-production, on-set production, and post-production processes that make small and large productions successful. The ideal candidate is a proven storyteller with filmmaking, project management, and cross-functional collaboration expertise; they are someone that has a deep understanding of the anatomy of a film set (Art department, Locations department, G&E, etc.) and is ready to apply Hollywood habits to a corporate organization.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Video Lead and creative team to conceptualize, plan, and develop photo and video content that aligns with the campaign and/or project brief. This may include promotional content, case studies, internal/external training content, event coverage, and executive messages.
- Work closely with the program managers and video lead to project manage all aspects of the video/photo projects from brief through final delivery.
- Coordinate and organize all aspects of the department's photo, video, and motion projects through pre-production planning, distribution, and archiving.
- Work closely with the creative team, Video Lead, and program managers to organize and manage all image asset requests and scheduling.
- Ensure that the program managers and creative leaders are brought in at project initiation to validate the request and throughout all production phases.
- Work closely with the Creative team to ensure that all photography, film and video, and motion projects are on schedule and on-budget.
- Plan all necessary aspects of video/photography shoots, including (but not limited to):
- Budgets - development, negotiation, and approval on behalf of our clients
- Locations - facilitate scouting, selection, and confirmation. Secure proper permits and usage authorization
- Art Department and Props - facilitate sourcing and coordination of proper allocation for these elements on shoot days
- Talent - scouting, selection, confirmation
- Drive internal client approval process for pre-production, production, and post-production, including budget, location/talent in the pre-production phase, and final approval
- Serve as main Lutron contact for outside video/photography vendors
- Lead vendor communications regarding pre-shoot scheduling and estimating and post-shoot image edits and image delivery
- Manage external production teams, including directors, editors, sound designers, and other vendors. Negotiate contracts, timelines, and budgets, and ensure the highest production quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
- Minimum 7 years experience in film/video & photography production that includes experience in managing production budgets and vendor relationships
- Portfolio that shows your experience as filmmaker (e.g., short films, marketing videos, advertising spots, etc.)
- A can-do attitude with an understanding that, "the show most go on", despite unwanted suprises during the filmmaking process
