Senior Manager of Customer Marketing
will play a pivotal role in driving retail marketing strategies and enhancing customer engagement to increase sales and brand loyalty. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing tailored marketing programs that align with retailer goals while ensuring the company's brands maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and strong collaboration with internal and external partners.
Senior Manager of Customer Marketing Key Responsibilities: Lead the creation and implementation of customer-specific marketing programs to drive sales and strengthen brand positioning at retail Partner closely with sales teams and key retail partners (e.g., Walmart, Target, Kroger, and other major accounts) to align marketing initiatives with retailer priorities Design and execute high-impact shopper marketing campaigns, in-store activations, and digital initiatives that enhance customer engagement. Utilize market research, sales data, and shopper insights to optimize marketing strategies and measure program effectiveness Develop and manage omnichannel marketing programs, including eCommerce promotions, digital advertising, and retailer-specific media strategies Work closely with sales, category management, brand marketing, and external agencies to bring customer marketing initiatives to life Oversee budget allocation for customer marketing initiatives and track ROI to ensure optimal program performance Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging shopper behaviors, and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities
Senior Manager of Customer Marketing Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred 7+ years of experience in customer marketing, trade marketing, or shopper marketing within the CPG industry Strong knowledge of retail marketing strategies and experience working with major retailers Proficiency in leveraging data and insights tools to drive marketing decisions Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partners to execute impactful programs Proven ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
