Overview To create conceptual approaches and copywriting solutions for promoting Navy Federal products and services to increase member engagement, branding recognition and market penetration goals. Execute projects and interact with all levels of internal/external contacts under moderate supervision from senior level Marketing Communications Specialist and/or management. Perform basic/routine tasks with moderate scope, analysis, and latitude. Responsibilities Create/produce concepts/copywriting for product marketing, advertising, direct response and marketing communication products and campaigns Collaborate with clients/marketing staff to understand/translate marketing communications into clear, cohesive, concise and effective communications for campaigns and various media channels Provide consultative editorial/development services to clients to ensure appropriate copy solutions are used, content accuracy, and grammar consistency in style and image Perform on-going quality control to ensure efficiency & accuracy of processes & procedures Make presentations to stakeholders and management on initiatives, objectives, plans, and results Provide input/recommendations for Corporate Marketing Plan modifications to reflect market environment changes or requirements Contribute to the development of web content marketing strategy to include links within web sites Monitor, audit and/or update product information on sites to ensure information accuracy, compliance with corporate marketing plan, regulatory requirements and Navy Federal standards Ensure communications content is leveraged against latest SEM (Search Engine Marketing) and SEO (SearchEngine Optimization) capabilities to support market penetration and align with marketing strategic initiatives Use copywriting/editing methodologies and practices to create marketing communications materials for various digital mediums Research marketing communications resources to include creative methods for copy and advertising Keep current with industry standards, competitors' practices, and regulatory, copyright considerations and communicates changes to staff Perform other related duties as assigned or appropriate Qualifications Familiarity with marketing, advertising, direct response, communications principles/production processes and SEM/SEO methodologies Experience in creating conceptual approaches and copy solutions for marketing communications campaigns used in most media Experience managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals Experience copywriting, editing and proofreading skills Strong organizational, planning and time management skills Research, analytical, and problem solving skills Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely Effective editorial applications software skills Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills Bachelor's Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience Desired Qualifications Desired - Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, marketing or related area of study Desired - Mastery of marketing, advertising, direct response, and corporate communications principles Desired - Thorough knowledge of all marketing communication production processes Desired - Knowledge of financial services industry and products, credit unions and/or broker-dealer firms in particular Desired - Experience working in a demanding creative environment similar to an advertising agency Desired - Familiarity with project management principles and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification Hours:
