Job Summary: Has responsibility for staffing, support and performance of regional specific business management talent pool for stand-alone accounts and global business units as necessary.

Responsibilities: • Directs, establishes, maintains, and plans the overall business policies, goals, tools and practices for a business development department.• Develops specific plans for each factory together with BUMs, sales team and operations.• Assists in targeting customers and industries appropriate for the company; supports business development activities: quotes, customer visits.• Coordinates and negotiates with the product development, marketing and/or sales group.• Manages business development talent pool including BUDs, BUMs, BUCs and Project Coordinators for stand alone accounts.• Keeps local and corporate management informed of market conditions such as pricing, material interruption, competitor activities, and technology trends and change.• Participates in quarterly business reviews at each site.• Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.• Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company's business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.• Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint. Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes • Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.• Strong and convincing communication skills.• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products and e-mail skills required. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills Requirements: • 10 or more years of business experience in a relevant Ivy position or equivalent external work experience, including 5 or more years of experience in management role.• Strong entrepreneurial skills, self-starter, requires little supervision.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Individual will be required to sit and/or remain stationary for extended periods of time. Individual will be required to type and/or operate a computer and other office productivity machinery for extended periods of time. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and/or documents; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and/or extensive reading. The person in this position may need to occasionally walk or otherwise traverse, stand, exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects, bend, reach, kneel, and/or twist for minimal periods of time. Employees should not attempt to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance. Care should always be taken when lifting, pushing or pulling in an awkward position.
