Job Summary

The RFID Lab is seeking a student employee to provide graphic design support to the communications and outreach team.

The job requires a highly creative and detail-oriented individual who is committed to maintaining the integrity of the Auburn brand. This is a year-round student opportunity, offering a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week.

Essential Functions

Provide assistance with design projects for the RFID Lab and will be expected to contribute ideas and future project ideas.

Provide graphic design support for projects, events, newsletters, and website design.

Minimum Qualifications

Enrolled student at Auburn University in graphic design or similar field

Strong skills in Adobe CC InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

Strong visual communication skills

Expectations:

Interest in Communications and Marketing

Ability to collaborate and work with a team

Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities independently and on deadline is required

Ability to work in an office setting at computer for several hours a day

Preferred Qualifications

Specialized interest in translating the methods, impacts, and wider applications of scientific research for a wide variety of public audiences to interest, engage, and garner support in the college's research, academic, development, and outreach programs.
