Our team is responsible for managing material requirements, mitigating shortages, and resolving supplier issues to support the PAC-3 program.What You Will Be DoingAs the PAC-3 Material Expeditor, you will be responsible for driving mitigation activities across the program's supply chain and managing daily supplier issues to support production and various customers.Your responsibilities will include:• Managing assigned shortages, capacity shortage reports, and metrics• Interfacing with cross-functional teams, including IST Leads, SEMAC, Suppliers, and PP&C• Developing and maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers through emails, phone calls, and presentations• Driving mitigation activities and resolving supplier issues• Participating in production meetings and contributing to various projects as needed• Traveling to supplier sites or production facilities as requiredWhy Join UsWe're looking for a collaborative and communicative individual to join our team as a PAC-3 Material Expeditor. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.Basic Qualifications:• Ability to multitask is a firm requirement for this position• Ability to drive mitigation activities.• Manage supplier issues daily to support the ISTs, Production, and various customers.• Ability to eventually act as the team Trainer for new hires & Skillbridge personnel for Management as skills develop.• Extensive communication skills to include emails, phone calls, presentations to management, and ISTs production meetings.• Some travel may be required based on the supplier and support to Production.• Position is Hybrid with required onsite presence T/W and remote work M/Th (subject to change based upon Program and/or MFC guidance)• Various projects will be assigned as needed.Desired Skills:• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business related degree.• Basic knowledge of scheduling principles and performance metrics.• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.• Strong verbal and written communications and effective presentation skills.• Working understanding of line of balance spreadsheets.• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.• Ability to work changing priorities and work as assignedSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
