Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Graphic Artist to join the F-35 Training Systems and Courseware (TSCW) team at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The TSCW team is composed of qualified, highly engaged, and enthusiastic communications professionals focused on people, products, and the mission they support. In this role, you will serve as a visual communications partner and must have experience working multiple projects and execution to tight deadlines. You will need to be prepared to thrive in an active environment that demands collaboration, agility, resourcefulness, innovative thinking and use tools to effectively communicate to subject matter experts, customers, and stakeholders. This position will be reporting to the F-35 Program Manager.
Having at least 3 years of work experience in design, you must have extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office platforms, and the ability to work on a PC operating systems. You will need strong attention to details, respect for customer requirements, and time-management skills.
Responsibilities:
Sustaining digital graphics to new F-35 technical standards
Developing new courseware graphics for engineered pilot and maintenance capabilities
Designing pages, layouts, and functionality for eLearning software
Front-end development of training courseware curriculum
Communicating with subject matter experts and the customer daily
Providing creative support, advice, and guidance to execute the best product

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) AND at least 7 years of related professional / military experience in graphic design OR a bachelor's degree in a graphic design, UX, web development, or a similar discipline AND 3 years of related professional / military experience in graphic design
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Programs Access (SAP) clearance
Must have at least 2 years of Adobe Creative Cloud experience, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
Must have at least 2 years of using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:
An active DoD Secret Clearance
Must be detail oriented, well organized, self-motivated, and good follow-up skills
Expert understanding of photo manipulation, digital illustration, and 3D rendering
Knowledge of front-end coding languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with Adobe After Effects, Animate, Captivate, and Premiere is advantageous
Familiarity with learning content management system (LCMS) such as dominKnow
Salary Range:
$58,000 - $87,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
