As a key member of the creative team, the Creative Director for JD and Finish Line drives the creative vision and strategy, ensuring the brands connection to youth culture at the intersection of sport, music and fashion. You're a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, driving creative excellence across all channels while aligning with brand strategy, consumer insights, and market trends. You will guide a talented team, fostering collaboration across multiple offices, and partner with cross-functional teams to execute integrated campaigns that connect with consumers. . Drive the overarching creative strategy for JD and Finish Line Keep creative teams connected to youth culture through emerging trends and global influences. Lead creative execution of brand programs and strategies across all channels, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, consumer insights, and market trends. Directly oversee and manage copy, design, video editing, and capture functions within the creative team. Lead the Art Director team across office locations, fostering collaboration and cross-team connection. Inspire and mentor the creative team to deliver innovative, on-brand storytelling while balancing brand-defining work with retail efficiency. Lead planning and execution of integrated campaigns with a focus on compelling storytelling and consumer connection. Serve as the strategic creative lead in developing briefs for key stories, campaigns and platforms in collaboration with marketing and brand teams. Oversee and build JD Sports' creative resource network, identifying and maintaining relationships with external partners such as photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, producers, and post-production teams. Lead all aspects of on-location external productions, from planning and resourcing to on-set execution and post-production, including budgeting, briefing external teams, and negotiating with producers Continuously develop team skillset and experience to support and lead location productions and post-production of campaigns and programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, brand, and external partners, to ensure creative execution aligns with broader business objectives and brand vision. Champion innovation and creative excellence, pushing boundaries in both content and execution to maximize JD's differentiation in the marketplace. Develop and present creative concepts to cross-functional teams and leadership Travel frequently for shoots and team development Evolve brand standards for consistency and consumer relevance Interview, hire, train, and manage team members, ensuring performance, development, and team cohesion. Additional duties and projects as required. Required Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Design, Marketing, or Advertising from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience. At least 5 years as a creative in the design/advertising field and 3 years of art direction and managing designers, production budgets and outside vendors.

Required Computer and/or Technical Skills

Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Adobe Creative Suite and all design programs it involves and basic to intermediate abilities with Microsoft Office software, and competence in learning how to maximize the use of new software.

This role will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick leave, parental leave, and company paid time off plan.
