Insurance Marketing Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: MarketingPOSITION REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing with oversight by Team LeaderFLSA STATUS: ExemptPOSITION DESCRIPTION: The Marketing Coordinator will work with the marketing team and is responsiblefor managing tasks assigned by the Marketing Manager. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:•Support Marketing Managers in the marketing process for new and existing clients.•Follow Marketing process and procedures to obtain and renew insurance coverage for clients.•Use Reliance tools such as TORQ and RPX to help manage the renewal lifecycle of an insured.•Quote within online rating systems (Progressive, Great West, Paramount, etc)•Track and manage a pipeline of renewals and ensure they go to market on time.SKILLS REQUIRED:•Strong "people skills" and a positive, can-do attitude is a must.•Strong prioritization and time management skills.•Ability to interact with markets and team members in a professional manner.•Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.•Must be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.•Strong computer skills with a focus in Microsoft Office applications•Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with others inside and outside theorganization.YOU'RE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS ROLE IF:•You have excellent verbal and written communication and people management skills.•You have great organizational and time management skills.•You are great at attention to detail.•You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.•You have the ability to apply practical solutions to complex problems.•You have great collaboration and teamwork skills.•You are comfortable in a high-pressure environment.
