JOB TITLE: Sr. Production Designer
LOCATION: Remote
DURATION: 6 months
RATE RANGE: $110-$130/hr

POSITION SUMMARY:

The main function of a visual designer Sr. Production Designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical designer needs to have a high level of creativity and be able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure, and multi-task are required skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Instruct and lead other designers in the planning, analyzing and creation of visual solutions to communication problems.
  • Create 2D and 3D Graphics and typography for presentations, apparel, branding, UI, and other software products.
  • Approve and review overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design, and suggest improvements as needed.
  • Review prepared sketches or layouts of other designers to present to the client.

Candidates will be expected to deliver or lead the production of:

  • Concept videos
  • Storyboards
  • Product Mockups
  • Symbology and Iconography
  • Style shots with stock photos
  • Presentations
  • Style Guides
  • Design Production / Asset Production
  • Illustrations
  • Textile design
  • Low fidelity 3D and Rendering
  • Basic sound design
  • Product marketing collateral
  • Communication design

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving ability are required.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Expert ability to utilize various forms of media, including print, electronic, and film.
  • Expert ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
  • Experience with Figma, Illustrator, After Effects, a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in design or related field or equivalent training required.
