Cindy Yee Kong, author of The Eyes of the Lion, founded Grace Animal Rehabilitation Center Inc. under the pressing need of rescuing and re-homing overpopulated stray cats in her community. Her love for domesticated animals began when she was comforted by a rescue kitten in her trying time.

Grace Animal Rehab Center's eventual goal is to have a mobile spay/neuter clinic and advocate team. Currently, we only have a spay/neuter program due to limited volunteers.

Responsibilities:

• Research available grants that meet the needs of a small but dedicated animal rescue. A passion for helping pets is a big plus!
• Write and submit grant proposals, meeting granters’ deadlines.
• Ensure that all grant proposals get prior approval from the CEO before submittal.
