Our roles are typically open to remote candidates located and authorized to work in the U.S. However, priority will always be given to those located in our geographic footprint. This is because we've found the ability to seamlessly collaborate in-person when needed is very valuable to the nature of our work.
Account Managers are people-people, responsible for the relationships between the agency and its clients. This means understanding the clients' business to be able to manage their needs and expectations AND understanding the agencies offerings to be able to shepherd internal resources.
The Associate Account Manager acts as a key layer for the account team, managing administrative and operational tasks on projects to maintain momentum.
Broad responsibilities include:
- Client engagement - primarily in team settings with emerging 1:1 relationship with junior levels.
- AM Support - provides info/updates on admin duties and project flow and assists as needed.
- Project involvement - project set up, daily routing, documentation of key conversations and decisions, management of timelines, monthly billing/hours reporting and manages project closure.
- PM Partnership - has a day-to-day partnership with PM to facilitate project momentum.
- Creative coordination - helps keep creative team informed, focused on priorities and on task.
- Media coordination - helps keep creative team informed, focused on priorities and on task.
- Digital experience coordination - proactively keeps reporting team aware of deadlines.
- Production assistance - serves as the right hand of AM during production, taking on roles and assignments as needed.
- Agency and Client knowledge - endeavors to build working knowledge of the basics of client engagement, the agency model, cross-functional roles, and agency process.
- Financial awareness - works with finance on monthly billing: retainer, project completion, post-launch promise, and Beta hour reporting.
What do You Need?
- 1+ years agency account management experience.
- Enthusiasm/passion for the digital marketing and advertising function.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with prior experience in customer- or client-facing role(s).
- Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and deadlines without sacrificing timeliness or quality.
- High degree of detail- and process-orientation.
- Self-starter mentality with a passion for continuous learning.
