We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our creative team as the Manager – Creative Strategist/Copywriter.

This role is pivotal in driving the development of compelling and innovative content across various channels. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with exceptional copywriting skills, leading a team of creative professionals to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with our target audience.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure creative solutions meet brand and campaign goals.
  2. Research the client's industry and their audience (combining online sources, interviews and studies).
  3. Write clear marketing copy/creative content in terms of pitch and post copies, case study content etc to promote the products/services.
  4. Assist with business pitches to win new clients or projects.
  5. Review and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  6. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative concepts, taglines, and slogans that align with the client's marketing objectives.
  7. Tailor your writing style to suit different brands, target audiences, and campaign objectives.
  8. Work closely with art directors, designers, and other team members to create integrated and impactful advertising campaigns.
  9. Review and approve copy and creative materials to ensure they meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
  10. Lead and inspire a team of creative strategists, copywriters, and content creators.
  11. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous growth and development.
  12. Create and maintain a strong team culture and a feeling of belonging among the copywriters.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 4-5 years of experience as a creative strategist and copywriter, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  2. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  3. Be completely up-to-date and aware of all developments in your field, as well as fully updated with news or online trends.
  4. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  5. The organisational ability to manage multiple projects, often to tight deadlines.
  6. Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  7. Exceptional written & verbal communication and storytelling skills.
  8. Required skills: Copywriting, scriptwriting, proofreading, creative visualization, team management, campaign planning, blogging, webpage content writing.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
