We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead our creative team as the Manager – Creative Strategist/Copywriter.
This role is pivotal in driving the development of compelling and innovative content across various channels. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with exceptional copywriting skills, leading a team of creative professionals to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure creative solutions meet brand and campaign goals.
- Research the client's industry and their audience (combining online sources, interviews and studies).
- Write clear marketing copy/creative content in terms of pitch and post copies, case study content etc to promote the products/services.
- Assist with business pitches to win new clients or projects.
- Review and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative concepts, taglines, and slogans that align with the client's marketing objectives.
- Tailor your writing style to suit different brands, target audiences, and campaign objectives.
- Work closely with art directors, designers, and other team members to create integrated and impactful advertising campaigns.
- Review and approve copy and creative materials to ensure they meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Lead and inspire a team of creative strategists, copywriters, and content creators.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous growth and development.
- Create and maintain a strong team culture and a feeling of belonging among the copywriters.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4-5 years of experience as a creative strategist and copywriter, with a portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Be completely up-to-date and aware of all developments in your field, as well as fully updated with news or online trends.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- The organisational ability to manage multiple projects, often to tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional written & verbal communication and storytelling skills.
- Required skills: Copywriting, scriptwriting, proofreading, creative visualization, team management, campaign planning, blogging, webpage content writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
