What You’ll Do:

  1. Content Creation:
    Conceptualize and create engaging and original short-form content for TikTok and Instagram that aligns with the brand's DNA, voice, and objectives.
    Execute end-to-end video production—including filming, editing, and sound design—to deliver high-quality content that drives awareness and engagement.
    Experiment with various video styles, techniques, and formats to keep content fresh and appealing to diverse audiences.
  2. Trend & Culture Integration:
    Stay ahead of TikTok trends, challenges, and cultural moments to integrate relevant, timely content into our social strategy.
    Analyze performance metrics and insights, adapting content strategies to drive engagement and growth.
  3. Collaboration:
    Work closely with our social team to understand campaign goals and messaging, translating them into compelling visual narratives.
    Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure a cohesive brand voice across all platforms.
  4. Community Engagement:
    Engage with our audience across social channels to foster a positive and active online community.
    Manage day-to-day tasks while ensuring the timely delivery of key projects and content.

What You Must Bring:

  1. Experience:
    2+ years of experience in social media content creation, with a strong emphasis on TikTok and video content.
    Proven track record of creating engaging social content, with a portfolio highlighting your work on TikTok and other video-driven platforms.
  2. In-Person Collaboration:
    A commitment to regular in-office presence at our Whittier, CA, location, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  3. Innovative Mindset:
    We aren’t afraid to go first. As a social-first lifestyle brand, we aim to break the mold beyond traditional content. We expect you to bring fresh ideas that keep our content innovative and engaging.
  4. On-Camera Comfort:
    Comfort with appearing on camera and showcasing behind-the-scenes (BTS) content to create a relatable brand presence.
  5. Creative Skills:
    Strong visual and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to capture attention quickly.
    Proficiency in leveraging third-party editing apps and tools to enhance content quality.
  6. Travel:
    Must be able to travel as needed for events, campaigns, and content creation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and beyond.
  2. Monitor and report on social media performance using analytics tools, adapting strategies based on data-driven insights.
  3. Maintain a deep understanding of digital and pop culture trends relevant to Gen Z and Generation Alpha.
  4. Manage content calendars and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and brand alignment.

Qualifications:

  1. A demonstrated passion for social media and digital trends.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).
  4. Familiarity with graphic design or video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Canva, etc.) is a plus.
