Amazon is seeking a Video Editor to join the growing Strategic Storytelling Unit within the Sellers External Relations team. The Video Editor will take marketing briefs and develop high-end video content for use across multiple digital platforms. They will have hands-on experience working with video editing and motion graphics software, in order to deliver video content in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with multiple stakeholders within the creative team. The Video Editor is a crafted video storyteller who can develop compelling visual stories and storyboards, with either new footage or existing video material and transform it into new content. They are adept at navigating post-production workflows, possess technical knowledge of all video & audio production, diving into music, editing, motion graphics, stock footage channels and even some small 3D work. They understand how video content is used in multiple video channels – including digital advertising, paid & organic social media, website development, events, and more. The Video Editor is aware of the latest trends in social media, editing and motion graphic techniques. They are at their best in a creative environment collaborating with copywriters, designers, and producers ensuring multiple marketing campaigns come to life and business projects and initiatives successfully deliver against expectations.
Key job responsibilities
About the team: The Seller External Relations (SER) team ensures that Amazon is viewed globally by external audiences as a valuable, accessible partner who respects and celebrates the success of its sellers. We create content and tools that demonstrate and celebrate the positive experiences of sellers on Amazon to other sellers, the general public, and influentials (e.g., media and policymakers) with the goal of improving their perception of the experience and benefits of selling in our store.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent technical degree in Film Production.
- 3-5 years’ experience editing directly with video production software (Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro) in a professional capacity at a production studio, marketing agency or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient with entire Adobe Creative Suite; specifically After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $69,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $148,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
