About the role
The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that elevates Unlock’s brand, builds an engaged online community, and drives meaningful customer connections. The Social Media Manager creates and curates compelling content across multiple platforms, collaborating with external freelancers and agencies, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize campaigns. The manager continuously monitors industry trends and audience behaviors to keep the brand at the forefront of digital engagement while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Unlock’s brand, marketing objectives, and overall business goals.
- Identify key platforms, trends, and opportunities to engage target audiences effectively.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content and campaigns (including text, image, and video) tailored to each platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including influencers and agencies.
- Foster and grow an active, engaged online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Monitor social media channels for customer insights, feedback, and trends to inform strategy.
- Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics to measure campaign performance and inform decision-making.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and demonstrate ROI.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep Unlock at the forefront of digital innovation.
- Test and implement new features or platforms as appropriate.
- Collaborate with external freelancers and agencies to develop, produce, and execute dynamic social media campaigns that enhance brand visibility and engagement.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in social media management.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies.
- Deep knowledge of major social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) and emerging trends.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Khoros, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms.

Target base compensation is $113,000-120,000 annually. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
