Here’s what we are looking for:
A seasoned producer primed to lead, manage and execute live, experiential events, mobile tours, and sampling programs. You’ll provide leadership in technical / production services, operations & logistics, and have proven success in experiential production, an in-depth understanding of industry trends, and is not afraid to set new boundaries within the industry.
Here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Oversee and lead all facets of production elements and client deliverables, ensuring the end product meets and/or exceeds JFS & client standards.
- Lead development of project budgets, production schedules, run of shows, project related production documents, and organization of pertinent information.
- Source vendors, negotiate contracts and fees, and clearly communicate any scope changes that affect budget.
- Work cross-functionally between departments (creative, production, client services) to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are identified, managed, and met.
- Supervise production of program elements, safeguarding quality control at all times.
- Research, propose, and assist in selection of event sites, acquire permits & licenses, execute site checks as needed.
- Lead tour routing and logistics, transport & shipping, inventory, storage & warehousing.
- Provide onsite event management, including direction of labor staff, vendor main point of contact, procuring required equipment, schedule load-in/out, oversee set-up & strike, logistics, warehousing, wrap-up & debrief.
- Be accountable for the quality and financial success of all projects.
- Ability to manage and delegate 1-2 direct reports.
- Comfortable as budget lead on program budgets upwards of $500k+.
Here’s what you got:
- 5 - 6 years of relative experience within field/experiential marketing, live event production, or similar.
- Ability and willingness to manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
- Communication skills; ability to communicate highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Vendor contacts, sourcing and negotiation experience.
- Contribute to a positive work environment, lead by example.
- Detail oriented individual with excellent follow-up/follow-through, organizational/documentation/tracking skills.
- Strong computer application skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Suite, Slack) and ability to work in a digital work environment.
- Experience with project management software such as monday.com, or Asana.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, think creatively, & evaluate usage data.
- Superior interpersonal skills to work closely with internal creative & accounts team members and client teams.
- Familiarity in/basic knowledge of CAD, Vectorworks or SketchUp is a plus.
- Knowledge and understanding of trade show, union, and labor restrictions is a plus.
- Ability to work weekends and travel on occasion, when projects dictate.
- Local to New York City Metropolitan area, and the ability to work in office Tuesdays - Thursdays weekly.
Benefits
- Salary Range: $80,000-$105,000.
- Hybrid schedule in NYC – in office Tuesday - Thursday.
- Onsite weekend pay.
