The Role
The Senior Lead Marketing Manager is responsible for the execution of the Marketing intersection within the customer journey, including education and follow-through with Sales, Customer Success (CS), and Sales Development Representatives (SDR). The primary goals are to increase the funnel, accelerate the funnel, and retain at-risk customers. This position supports across Public Sector.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of tactics that drive high utilization and significant, measurable results from marketing programs, campaigns and tactics to move prospects and customers through the sales cycle to meet Lumen's sales and revenue targets.
- Be aware of defined KPIs and how to deliver to these benchmarks; data-driven approach to decision making.
- Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project timeframes, dependencies, and risk factors.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues.
- Interface with Sales & Revenue Operations teams to determine sales enablement needs.
- Liaison with Customer Experience (CX) to align strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to securing and expanding customer relationships, enhancing personalized customer experiences, and ultimately driving business growth.
- Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities.
- Track lead flow to ensure timely follow-up by sales channels.
- Document campaigns and results for senior sales leadership and ecosystem.
- Support execution of in-person events, pre and post event sales enablement activities.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or comparable education/experience.
- 5-7+ years of experience.
- Strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and resource allocation.
- Ability to adapt to continually changing priorities and aggressive project timeframes.
- Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes.
- Experience building, launching, and reporting on campaigns using Marketo and Salesforce.
- Familiarity with the technical sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture leads, drive adoption, and accelerate growth.
- Deep knowledge of demand generation mix including email marketing, direct mail, social media, online marketing, channel marketing, webinars.
- Motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to partner with various teams and internal stakeholders to drive results.
- Highly analytical with a focus on metrics and outcomes. Proficiency in AI, Excel pivot tables, and PowerPoint.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
