The Senior Content Marketing Manager sits within the Content & Creative Studio in brand marketing, creating best-in-class creative and content experiences that educate and inspire advertisers to grow their brand with Amazon Ads. We are seeking an insight-driven, curious, and experienced B2B marketer to build external brand content that promotes strategic brand storytelling initiatives to elevate Amazon Ads thought leadership in the advertising industry. In this highly-cross functional role, you’ll be responsible for developing core brand stories that will be used in campaigns across multiple owned and paid channels. Content deliverables could include "big rock" narratives, research reports, sponsored content, customer videos, executive interviews, and blog posts.

Key job responsibilities

  • Recommend and execute comprehensive content ideas that drive brand awareness and shift perceptions through compelling, data-driven storytelling across multiple formats (sponsored content, videos, research narratives, guides, blog posts)

  • Write and deliver thought leadership content and work cross-functionally with marketing teams, sales, legal, and PR to align with business goals, brand and product messages, and other priorities

  • Leverage mechanisms to scale content impact and drive awareness of new materials through sales and direct-to-customer channels

A day in the life

The day-to-day of this role includes writing and delivering content against an overall content calendar, ideating and building new content programs, and project managing content reviews, approvals, and go-to-market (GTM) plans. To be successful you will need to establish clear processes, set prioritization, and be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. The right candidate will be a self-starter and have strong interpersonal, project management, and analytical skills. This role will need to have a high bar for writing, grammar, and high attention to detail to deliver high-quality, customer obsessed content.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience

  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions

  • Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery

  • Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)

  • Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
