Position: Assistant Community Manager
Location: Salem Woods Apartments
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Community Size: 234 units



What We're Looking For:

  • At least 2 year of experience in property management or leasing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Yardi software.
  • Strong verbal and written skills with excellent customer service.
  • Detail-oriented with effective time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Able to manage and resolve a variety of challenges.
  • Highly motivated with a keen eye for detail.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Willing to submit to drug and background checks upon receiving a job offer.


Other helpful skills and competencies:

  • NALP® designation through NAA
  • Yardi experience
  • Social media skills


What You'll Do:

  • Welcomes prospective residents, provides community tours, and manages lease explanations.
  • Supports daily property operations to meet financial and operational goals.
  • Ensures the property and apartments are in top condition and ready for new leases.
  • Helps build and lead a cohesive team to achieve property objectives.
  • Conducts leasing activities and maintains accurate records in Yardi.
  • Oversees move-ins, move-outs, and prepares lease paperwork.
  • Maintains resident records, including tracking payments for rent, deposits, and application fees. Issues necessary notices (e.g., late payments, eviction, returned checks).
  • Prepares reports, manages resident files, and assists with renewals and community events.
  • Stays updated on local competition and marketing trends.
  • Contributes to financial goals by managing rent collection and delinquent accounts.
  • Assists the Property Manager with various property management duties.
