Position Overview

Our start-up client is seeking a Content Strategist with strong Copywriting and brand experience to join their team full-time as soon as possible! This is a fully remote position, however to be considered you will need to work EST hours.


The ideal candidate will be strong in marketing copywriting, but also have the ability to pair strategy, SEO and data to influence creative decisions. There also may be an opportunity to re-imagine and launch a new brand voice and tone in future campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker who can leverage SEO and analytics to drive content performance and contribute to our overall marketing goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing marketing content for integrated creative campaigns including social media, digital advertising, and long-form content. Examples include: Creative campaigns, product descriptions, brand voice guidelines, ad copy, email campaigns, content strategy plans, video or script writing, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically integrate overall brand strategy across all areas of written copy to ensure cohesiveness and content strategy effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement content strategies that align with brand objectives.
  • Create engaging, high-quality SEO-optimized copy for various platforms including websites, blogs, and social media.
  • Analyze content performance using Google Analytics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all content.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing.


Qualifications

  • MUST have a portfolio to showcase brand writing.
  • Proven experience as a Copywriter or Content Strategist, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics for measuring content performance.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
