What We're Looking For:
Someone to join our small team, take ownership of our content network and build it from the ground up. Can you go from 0-100k followers in a few months? Try it! Have you challenged yourself to speak like a human and run social the way you know how? We need someone who lives and breathes social media. Someone who knows exactly where the conversation is happening, stays up to date on who’s said what, and can join in with a unique POV. You have done this before and proven that you can establish a brand voice while engaging the community on behalf of a company.
We want someone who wants to own the voice. Capture an audience that wants what we’re offering and give them a daily destination they can’t wait to see what we’ve got to say! Sounds interesting? Can you handle it? This is your chance to walk in at the ground floor and be the head of the department when we scale after you put some rockets on it.
You’ll fit in if you believe that speed and consistency are non-negotiables. You’ve already optimized your workflows and are using the latest ai tools because you love to experiment with how fast you can create, engage and iterate to improve the engagement and reach of your social posts. Your automation frees you up to be more strategic, and funnier, because who wants to be social when they’re bored?
Blah blah blah Responsibilities (you know the job):
- Develop and implement cohesive social media strategies aligned with company goals and target audience, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
- Create, manage, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube, while managing a content calendar.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports on web traffic, user engagement, and ROI to management.
- Discover and curate social and video content that fits our brand voice.
- Foster community engagement by responding to comments and messages, collaborating with internal teams, and coordinating with external creators and influencers to promote brand awareness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and research audience interests to enhance content and strategy effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics/analytics
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and content creation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from data
- Able to handle community management on channels
- Hands-on experience using social media to build brand awareness
- Experience with graphic design, photo editing, and publishing
- Ability to identify target audiences’ preferences and produce tailored content

Additional Information:
- 40 hours/week
- Base salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications)
