Position Overview:
The Associate Creative Producer role combines hands-on production responsibilities with key support tasks to ensure the seamless execution of creative projects in the fashion industry. Reporting to the Visual Design Director, this role plays a crucial part in the production of e-comm and campaign shoots while providing essential administrative and organizational support to the creative team. This role requires strong production experience, on-set familiarity, and the ability to manage logistics in a fast-paced creative environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Production & Shoot Coordination:
- Oversee and manage the production of e-comm and most campaign shoots, as assigned by the Visual Design Director, ensuring the day-to-day operations and all stages of shoot production run smoothly.
- Assist in pre-production tasks, including location scouting, set design, fittings, castings, and tech scouts.
- Provide on-set assistance, including production support, set design, and hands-on help during e-comm and campaign shoots.
- Work closely with agents and artists on all production-related topics, supporting the Visual Design Director in negotiating rates for freelance contributors.
- Manage production for collaborations and partner with brands on co-production needs.
- Support the Visual Design Director in preparing and managing editorial and e-comm production budgets, including tracking invoice payments.
- Work with the legal / COO to execute all production contracts.
- Manage and track usage rights for all creative projects.
- Propose and own team and model travel bookings, prop coordination, equipment rentals, and other production logistics.
Scheduling & Organization:
- Oversee the organizing and management of creative assets, including maintaining a digital library of visual resources, reference materials, and brand guidelines specific to Frankies Bikinis.
- Manage the production schedule for shoots, including pre- and post-production and retouching timelines.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to establish a workbook calendar for e-comm and campaign shoots.
- Manage the shoot schedule and deadlines for the creative team, ensuring seamless communication across departments.
- Serve as a key point of contact between teams to ensure samples, assets, and shoot materials are properly prepared and delivered on time.
Administrative & Creative Team Support:
- Assist the creative team with administrative support, including template upkeep, binder preparation, studio maintenance, and printing creative decks.
- Flesh out creative decks and briefs based on direction from the Visual Design Director.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to create the necessary deliverables for editorial, e-commerce, and pickup shoots.
- Maintain organized production files and archives of completed projects.
- Review and approve expense reports at the end of each month.
Education/Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in production within a creative setting, including hands-on, on-set experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive for production needs.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including out-of-state shoots.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating with agencies, vendors, and freelancers on production-related tasks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate production needs and problem-solve on set.
