Instructional Designer Job at Mindlance in Mc Lean

Title: Instructional Designer Location: Richmond or McLean, VA (hybrid) Duration: 3 month assignment with possibility of extension We are building a specialized cross-functional team to redesign Learning and Development training resources. The team will revamp virtual and computer-based training (CBTs) for internship programs across Business and Technology job families. The individual designers will be responsible for working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create learning experiences. Preferred Abilities: Increase the effectiveness of learning solutions by identifying and recommending format/modalities that create an optimal learning experience and demonstrate an understanding of adult learning principles. Apply expertise in learning design, learning science, and learning measurement to an evaluation of learning offerings. Clear communication of context and asks to a diverse range of stakeholders. Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to change, shifting priorities. Job Skills: 2+ years eLearning design/development, including experience with Articulate Storyline. Video production and/or animation skills. Use multimedia tools to tell compelling, interactive, digital-first stories. Preferred Qualifications: Bank experience. 4+ years of experience in learning & development, learning design, learning science, or an adjacent field. 2+ years Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sites, etc.). Hybrid work Schedule: 3 days in office weekly. Offices are open Monday - Thursday in Richmond, VA or McLean, VA.
