Job Title: Facility Layout Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Layout Designer with expertise in CAD drafting and composite designs. The ideal candidate will provide drafting support, manage design projects through their lifecycle, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide CAD drafting support for composite designs and revisions.

  • Hold review calls and capture meeting minutes.

  • Draft work for module creation and understand requirements from SIM tickets.

  • Provide feedback to Change Management if SIM tickets lack information.

  • Create or modify module drawings per redline instructions.

  • Attend team meetings regularly.

  • Manage Project Manager stakeholders' expectations.

  • Project manage design through a 14-month lifecycle.

  • Obtain and document all specifics regarding projects from site selection and transaction management.

  • Research and compile all available information for the site.

  • Coordinate all engineering and architectural specifications for each building type.

  • Coordinate initial architectural design and permit submittals.

  • Develop supporting documents for lease execution such as site plans, work letters, schedules, and phasing plans.

  • Develop initial construction schedules and sequences for necessary phasing.

  • Create construction estimates for capital requests and other planning efforts.

  • Manage due diligence, utility, and other coordination efforts before construction handoff.

  • Provide complete and accurate documentation for construction handoff.

  • Maintain a repository for all pre-construction work products by site.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Interior Designing and Planning, Architecture, Engineering and Tech Drawing, or Engineering.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Experience with Revit.

  • Experience in layout design, floor plan layout, and working with multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience with large commercial projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment

This role is hybrid, requiring candidates to work 3 days a week in the office located in Bellevue. The schedule includes Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and one additional day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
