Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  2. New Mexico Secondary or Specialty Teaching license with Library Endorsement or ability to obtain a license
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of library and media materials management practices
  4. Able to demonstrate proficient application of word processing, database, spreadsheet software, library management systems.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge and application of hardcopy, electronic media, and Internet access to information.
  6. Able to understand and apply the concepts of strategic planning with resultant successful implementation to enhance student success and improve student achievement.
  7. Demonstrated understanding and application standards-based curriculum, instructional delivery methodologies, and student management techniques and processes.
  8. Embraces and encourages diversity.
  9. Demonstrated a willingness to seek professional development in all aspects of the professional area of teaching.
  10. Demonstrated ability to provide an environment and climate where creativity, success and opportunity to learn are experienced by all students.
