What You Can Expect:

Oversees medical and consumer health library services to ensure knowledge-based resources are available to physicians, staff, and healthcare consumers.

Plans and coordinates programs, budgets, and strategic initiatives to enhance library services across the organization.

Manages library operations, ensuring timely responses to user requests and appropriate collection development.

Assesses and implements new library technologies, working with IT to maintain systems, software, and online content.

Leads, develops, and mentors library staff, handling hiring, training, evaluations, and performance management.

Builds strong relationships with executive staff, physicians, clinical teams, patients, and other library users.
Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in library science from an ALA program with an emphasis on medical librarianship, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in medical library administration.

Experience: 4 year's experience
