Purpose: Lead marketing strategy and drive growth initiatives. Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive marketing programs to enhance brand awareness, attract new members, cross sell existing members and promote the IMCU suite of financial products and services.

- Strategic Support: Assist in the development and execution of a long-term marketing strategy aligned with IMCU goals and mission, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand presence.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to achieve departmental goals and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Brand Management: Support brand development and maintenance, ensuring all marketing materials and campaigns are aligned with IMCU values and voice.
- Campaign Development: Assist in planning, executing, and measuring multi-channel marketing campaigns (internal/external) to promote IMCU products and services, increase membership, and drive engagement.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, understand member needs, and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources, and maximizing ROI on marketing initiatives.
- Partnerships & Collaborations: Help establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external agencies, vendors, and sponsorship properties to amplify the credit union's marketing efforts.
- Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Travel: Minimal travel between branches and markets as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the financial services industry or advertising agency.
- Skills: Strong strategic thinking, project management, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledgeable in SEO, social media management, email marketing, video development, Content Management Systems, digital advertising and analytics, and reporting.
- Attributes: Results-driven, detail oriented, decisive, and adaptable with a strong commitment to member satisfaction and community engagement. Out of the box thinker that takes initiative.
- Software Experience: Proficient in CRM, project management and in digital marketing tools and platforms. General knowledge in email, website, social media, and Adobe software.
