General Purpose:
Our Marketing Coordinator will help us become the most recognizable name in the nonprofit community! This person will plan and execute marketing & communications strategies.
The ideal candidate is a creative, dynamic, self-starter who is interested in working on a small marketing team and likes to try new ideas while monitoring progress against goals. This position will report to the VP of Marketing & Communications.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, production, and distribution of all marketing components. These components include but are not limited to: appeal mailing, acquisition programs, fundraising events, digital marketing, radio and print advertising, pledge programs, and newsletter publications.
Provide promotional resources to Clubs & Communities as needed. These include but are not limited to brochures, donor acknowledgment materials (receipt package), displays, videos, and social media resources, emails, web pages, banners, flyers and signs.
Manage and perform updates to the company website.
Write posts and manage social media accounts.
Proficiency in creating and designing graphics for social media, marketing collateral, and websites, including experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Provide analysis of marketing efficacy, especially related to digital marketing and optimizing overall ROI. Prepare additional marketing activity reports and metrics.
Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.
Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation.
Support the maintenance and development of internal tools, including: contact directory, and SharePoint sites.
Computer and Equipment Skills:
Microsoft Office
Canva, Constant Contact, SharePoint, Squarespace experience, Adobe Creative Cloud, preferred.
HTML/CSS experience a plus.
Requirements
Education and/or Expertise:
Three years communications and/or marketing experience required.
Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities.
Commitment to being a high-performance team player.
Other Skills:
Person will be of flawless integrity.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Detail oriented.
Thrive in fast paced environments.
Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
Requirements:
Interest and ability to represent the agency in the public eye.
Ability to have a flexible work schedule which may include occasional evenings or weekends.
Applicants must be able to successfully perform the essential physical functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to supervise program activities.
Requires ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, squat, pull/push, grasp up to 4-8 hours per day.
The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
