Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Director to drive key marketing initiatives with a dual focus on project management and content strategy across all organic, social, lifecycle marketing and paid channels.
They will lead our multi-channel marketing efforts to drive brand awareness, patient engagement, and support our clinic growth plan, and . This role requires a strong leader and project manager who can rally cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive campaign development and execution on time and with excellence.
As a player-coach, this person will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies, while collaborating with freelancers, in-house design team, and agency partners to ensure seamless content production and campaign execution.
This role will be hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in our Soho, NYC HQ.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Cross-Functional Project Management :
  • Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies, support new clinic openings, and localized marketing efforts that align with business objectives and drive patient acquisition.
  • Serve as the project owner for content marketing campaign execution, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and campaign goals are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, patient experience, clinical) and external partners to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Manage and mentor the Marketing Coordinator, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their growth and success.
Social Media & Organic Content Management
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content strategy to grow organic social media, email, and blog channels into viable patient acquisition channels.
  • Ensure the organic strategy works in tandem with paid advertising, creating a cohesive brand presence.
  • Create and manage a content calendar across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) with consistent, brand-aligned messaging.
  • Lead the creation of trend-based content to increase engagement and reach, with a focus on conversions.
  • Lead community management and responses to social media messages and comments across multiple touch-points to foster engagement.
On-Site Content Creation & Clinic Engagement
  • Travel to nearby clinics to capture on-the-ground content featuring patient stories, clinic teams, and local events.
  • Collaborate with clinic team members to gather real-life stories that resonate with patients and bring the brand to life.
  • Work with agency partners to ensure content shoots run smoothly and production stays on schedule.
Public Relations & Brand
  • Draft and distribute press releases to secure positive brand coverage.
  • Manage relationships with PR agencies and media partners to ensure cohesive messaging.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies and maximize engagement and conversions.
  • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to ensure Metro Vein Centers remain at the forefront of digital engagement.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on content strategy, social media management, and multi-channel campaign execution.
  • Proven experience growing organic social media channels into patient or customer acquisition engines.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional marketing campaigns and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Experience managing and mentoring team members (e.g., Marketing Coordinator, Social Media Manager, Community Manager, etc.).
  • Hands-on content creation experience, including writing, filming, editing, and managing production shoots.
  • Comfortable being on-camera and behind the camera to create engaging content.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) and social media management tools.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for developing best-in-class campaigns that reflect the brand’s values.
  • Data-driven mindset with a passion for optimizing campaigns based on performance metrics.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to work and a drive to exceed expectations.
  • Willingness to travel to NYC metro area clinics as needed to support content creation and marketing efforts.
  • Proficiency in spanish a plus, but not required
