Digital Media Manager

The Digital Media Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of digital media campaigns while providing guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring all initiatives align with client objectives and agency standards. This role combines deep analytical expertise with strategic leadership - you'll be responsible for developing comprehensive reporting frameworks, conducting in-depth performance analysis, and translating data into actionable insights for our clients and internal teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other digital platforms, incorporating both strategic oversight and hands-on optimization
  • Guide and mentor media team members, fostering growth while ensuring campaign excellence and efficient workflow management
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance across multiple platforms, synthesizing data from various sources to create comprehensive performance insights
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that tell compelling stories about campaign performance and ROI
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of tracking and attribution systems to ensure accurate data collection and reporting
  • Provide clear and concise reporting on campaign results and media performance to stakeholders, including executive-level presentations that connect media performance to business outcomes
  • Lead client presentations and strategic discussions, translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Maintain strong relationships with media partners to maximize effectiveness and secure optimal rates and placements
  • Oversee campaign implementation across various channels including paid social, paid search, programmatic, email marketing, display, native, geo-fencing, streaming audio, and CCTV/OTT
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align media strategies with creative concepts and overall marketing objectives
  • Manage and optimize programmatic campaigns, including bidding strategies, creative updates, and targeting refinements
  • Review and approve media plans, budgets, and reporting while maintaining oversight of billing and reconciliation processes
  • Stay current with digital advertising trends and technologies, implementing innovative solutions to enhance client offerings


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital media planning/buying or similar roles
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Long Beach, CA, and be available to work in the office five days a week
  • Marketing and advertising agency experience required
  • Proven expertise in managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns using Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and programmatic platforms
  • Expert-level experience with analytics platforms including Google Analytics (GA4) and/or other marketing analytics tools
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor team members
  • Excellence in project management, strategic planning, and negotiation
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Required certifications: Google Ads, Google Analytics and Meta Ads certifications
