As a Freelance Motion Designer/Video Editor , you will be responsible for creating compelling motion graphics and editing video content for various projects including social media graphics, web content, and more. We're looking for an inventive and motivated creative talent to support our team. Working remotely, the freelance video & motion designer will work collaboratively across the Creative Services team to develop visually appealing and engaging content that aligns with our brand and project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and create motion graphics for video projects, including animations, title sequences, and visual effects.
• Edit video footage to create polished and professional final products.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality content.
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in motion design and video editing.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a motion designer and video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing work.
• Proficiency in motion design and video editing software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and design principles.
• Ability to incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine and improve video content.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• A creative mindset and a passion for creating visually stunning content.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of sound design and audio editing.
• Familiarity with color grading and correction.
• Experience with Canva and other cloud-based design and editing tools
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $37.64 to $41.83 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
