What You’ll Do

  • Manage client accounts including strategy, execution, budget management, reporting, client communication and more
  • Develop public relations strategy and communication plans to meet clients’ business goals
  • Manage all aspects of media relations, including developing strategic story ideas and media targets, drafting releases and op-eds, and pitching reporters
  • Proactively foster and maintain relationships with a broad set of media contacts
  • Monitor news and media mentions of clients
  • Stay current on understanding clients’ industries, competition and media landscape to anticipate challenges and uncover opportunities
  • Write, copyedit and publish printed and digital content, and manage the client feedback process
  • Collaborate with Candor’s digital team to create engaging, effective social media content, including paid social campaigns
  • Partner with marketing and digital strategists to drive clients’ business objectives
  • Organize and supervise the production of video and photo shoots
  • Recognize and devise solutions to potential problems while proactively ensuring all plans are executed completely and fully


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in public relations/communications
  • Media relations experience
  • Ability to turn projects quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Marketing, event planning and advertising experience are a plus
  • Demonstrated news writing ability for press releases, newsletters and magazines (AP Style)
  • Ability to manage several high priority projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
