Lead the design and implementation of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the Cloud One cloud-based infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into functional designs.
Develop and maintain UI/UX design standards and best practices.
Work closely with developers to ensure that UI/UX designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other UI/UX designers and engineers.
Evaluate new UI/UX design trends and technologies and make recommendations for their use.
Ensure that UI/UX designs are accessible and usable by all users, including those with disabilities.
Develop and maintain documentation related to UI/UX design solutions.
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Collaborate with the Lead Cloud Architect to ensure that UI/UX designs align with overall cloud architecture and security requirements.
Your role and responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UI/UX Lead to join our team for the Cloud One project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design, with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a proven track record of delivering intuitive and engaging user experiences.
Required technical and professional expertise Minimum of 7 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
Strong portfolio of UI/UX design work, demonstrating a range of design skills and styles.
Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
2+ years of experience working in a DoD or other Federal Government environment.
Experience with FedRAMP or FedRAMP+ environments.
Any Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level 2 or above.
Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions.
Preferred technical and professional experience Previous experience with AF Cloud One program.
A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.
