Robert Half is partnering with a global e-commerce organization in search of a Senior UX Designer to join their team for engaging onsite contract in Seattle, WA. As a Senior UX Designer, you will apply your expertise to craft innovative, user-friendly, and engaging AI-driven shopping experiences. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to develop conversational customer experiences powered by large language models (LLMs), driving impactful design solutions that elevate the customer journey.
Location: Seattle, WA (onsite)
Pay Rate: $50-57/hour
Contract Duration: 3 months w/ potential for extension
Hours: 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver design solutions for complex challenges, including future-forward, unprecedented experiences in AI-assisted shopping and natural language processing (NLP).
- Develop prototypes and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Create intuitive customer experiences for product discovery, comparison, purchase, and management using advanced conversational interfaces.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, while aligning UX strategies with business goals.
- Refine design patterns, establish UX design standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Translate quantitative data, qualitative insights, and technical considerations into actionable design solutions.
- Lead discussions and presentations to promote customer-centric decisions within leadership and project teams.
- Collaborate with a team of six other UX and voice designers in brainstorming, critiques, and design studios.
- Build and iterate on designs while presenting solutions to stakeholders and leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a UX Designer or Interaction Designer.
- Proven experience designing for web and mobile applications, with a portfolio showcasing end-to-end, user-centered design solutions.
- Expertise in Figma (strongly preferred), Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and prototyping using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
