About this Role
As a Product Designer at Manta Cares, you'll be instrumental in shaping the user experience of our responsive web platform. This role focuses on creating intuitive, accessible, and compassionate design solutions that directly impact cancer patients and their caregivers. In the first 3-6-9 months, you'll establish our design system, enhance our digital interface, and partner closely with engineering for last-mile implementation.
What You'll Lead
- Responsive Design System: Create and implement a scalable design system optimized for our responsive web application, ensuring consistency and accessibility across all screen sizes, especially mobile.
- User Experience Enhancement: Partner with Product and Engineering to own the end-to-end design process for our responsive web application, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI design and implementation.
- Engineering & Product Partnership: Work as a trusted partner to engineering and product teams, participating in sprint planning, providing design specifications, and ensuring pixel-perfect implementation across all breakpoints.
- Research & Testing: Collaborate with the Product team to conduct user research and usability testing, using both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and product strategy.
- Marketing Support: Create and maintain core design assets that support marketing initiatives while ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
How You'll Thrive

Who You Are
- You have 5-8 years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing consumer products
- Deep expertise in responsive mobile/web design patterns and best practices
- Experienced in building and maintaining design systems, with expertise in Figma and prototyping tools
- Strong background in accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG) and their implementation
- Track record of shipping successful consumer products
- Experience conducting usability research and translating insights into actionable design solutions
- Previous experience at consumer technology companies with a track record of excellent digital experiences
