Position: Travel/Hospitality Platform UX Designer
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid Schedule onsite work 3 days per week)
Duration: 9 months
Project Overview:
- The Travel Ads team empowers travelers to make informed decisions with useful ads that deliver industry-leading advertiser value across all travel verticals. The Travel Ads team sits which is responsible for creating amazing ad experiences across Search, Maps, and more.
Overall Responsibilities:
- In this position, you will start off (first half of the year) helping us dramatically improve the Travel advertiser experience (think of advertisers like Travel Technology Industry). You’ll be bringing them new features that help them meet the right customers and make Search overall more useful for travelers. In doing so, you’ll be contributing to making the Ads platform more simple and more powerful for some of our most important advertisers.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- You’ll work alongside Designers, Researchers, PMs, Eng, and other key stakeholders to design new flows, screens, and interactions that dramatically revamp and modernize the travel advertiser experience.
- You’ll participate in regular design reviews with Design / PM / Eng leadership to help guide the work over the course of the engagement.
- Throughout the engagement, you may also focus on key projects on the consumer experience.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience working in ad tech and/or dual-sided marketplaces a plus but not required.
