We are seeking Vice President, Marketing to join our team in New York, NY.

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing professional with prior experience in a multi-channel marketing position, preferably within a similar organization such as a professional services or financial services firm.

This role requires a high level of organizational and prioritization ability, excellent written English, strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work with stakeholders and vendors. Experience in campaign management, business development advisory, event management and content development are required.

The role will work in close collaboration with managing directors and senior stakeholders to support their Marketing efforts in conjunction with colleagues in the global Marketing Team.

Note: This position will be in our New York office located at the World Trade Center.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Work with regional marketing and service line leadership to set and lead the annual global marketing strategy and drive achievement of service line and Marketing team objectives.
  • Plan, execute and manage integrated marketing activities for the overall marketing strategy and plan, as well as day-to-day delivery of activities including the following:
    • Develop a multi-channel content strategy and thought leadership campaigns, reports, and newsletters.
    • Shape, plan and execute virtual and in person conferences, sponsorships and hosted events, including event scope, content, communications, branding and execution.
    • Maximize exposure of Kroll's brand and thought leadership
    • Manage content on website and plan marketing campaigns with our integrated team, including web, SEO, social media and digital advertising.
    • Develop various marketing materials, credentials, content and sales tools (e.g., service and industry focused materials). This includes working with subject matter experts and business development/sales leads to identify and translate client issues into go-to-market messages for target audiences and diverse channels.
    • Leverage marketing activities generated across the firm and adapt to local markets.
    • Partner with other marketing leaders and Communications on our PR strategy for priority markets.
    • Project manage Marketing activities related to new entity or geography offerings.
  • Drive continued brand transition and brand awareness efforts for the services line, including value propositions, advertising campaigns and client outreach materials.
  • Develop strong working relationships with service line leaders, the global Marketing team, and external suppliers to facilitate and maximize marketing efforts.
  • Track activities and ROI to report on performance to the business and Marketing team leaders.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, assign tasks and delegate projects as needed.
  • Build and maintain a mailing list database for the service lines in Salesforce and work closely with the Marketing Segmentation team on direct email marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain budget, track expenditure and invoice reconciliation.
  • Stay abreast of the market landscape and trends, sharing learnings, best practice and insights with the Marketing team and business stakeholders.


Essential traits:
  • Bachelor's degree. Twelve+ years of B2B marketing experience ideally within professional services environments with a restructuring/insolvency focus, with a proven ability to plan and deliver activities across a broad range of channels and audiences.
  • Subject matter proficiency in the areas of: Risk Advisory, Due Diligence, Forensic Investigations, or other professional advisory services.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to listen, analyze and present complex concepts to a variety of audiences, both verbally and through clear written work.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage conflicting priorities, deal with ambiguity and make independent decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, project management and organization skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, while being comfortable working with and challenging stakeholders within the team and the wider business.
  • Experience and the desire to work in a collaborative, diverse team environment alongside working independently and under minimal supervision.
  • Creative and innovative, regularly sharing ideas and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Eloqua or comparable software.
  • Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

The current salary range for this position is $70,000 to $200,000
