Deque is looking for a

Head of Marketing

to lead and scale our marketing efforts. In this role, you will drive and unify all aspects of marketing, including Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Demand Generation, PR/AR, Messaging, Brand Management, Events, and Sales Enablement. You will own Deque's company story and how we bring it to market, ensuring alignment across all business functions. As a key leader, you will examine and refine our Go-to-Market strategy, communicate the marketing vision, and deliver compelling messaging that drives awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to bring Deque's mission to life, engaging customers and industry leaders in the accessibility space. Apply Now

Primary Responsibilities

Drive all marketing efforts including Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Demand Generation, PR/AR, Messaging, Brand Management, Events, and Sales Enablement Own and drive the Deque brand, ensuring messaging is clear, compelling, and consistent across all channels. Set clear marketing KPIs and use a data-driven approach to measure performance, optimize campaigns, and maximize ROI. Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team, providing clear vision, strategic direction, and career development opportunities. Examine and refine our Go-to-Market strategy and partner with stakeholders to communicate the marketing strategy and ensure alignment across all business functions Create compelling customer-facing messaging and collateral that will educate the market and drive new opportunities by partnering with customers and industry leaders Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy and integrated marketing campaigns that increase awareness, expand reach, and fuel revenue growth. Conceptualize a Deque marketing roadmap and implement the concepts into actionable quarterly targets Build on and energize the community of axe users in Slack or Discord - use the community to build brand loyalty and quietly promote the use of licensed products.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a track record of leading high-impact teams. Deep understanding of demand generation, product marketing, and brand strategy. Strong experience in Go-to-Market strategy, messaging, and positioning. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across business units. Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) and data analytics tools. Passion for digital accessibility and an understanding of its importance in today's tech landscape. Exceptional communication skills with a storytelling mindset.
