Soliant is currently seeking a skilled Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a contracted position in the Henderson, Pennsylvania area . Join a dedicated team mitted to providing exceptional services to students with visual impairments. Pay Range: $40 - $55/hour (negotiable based on experience and interview performance) Position Details: Start Date: ASAP End Date: End of the school year Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) Caseload: 20-30 students Age Range: Preschool through 12th grade (early intervention services included) Session Length: 3075 minutes per session Travel: Involves working across multiple counties; mileage and travel stipends provided Responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative vision-related educational services to students. Adapt instructional materials to acmodate the needs of visually impaired students. Conduct functional vision assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate with classroom teachers and other support staff to implement strategies that support student learning and independence. Offer training and guidance to staff, families, and students on the use of assistive technology and visual aids. Travel between school sites to deliver services and maintain consistent munication with stakeholders. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches to align with individual goals. Qualifications: Special Education Teacher Certification with a visually impaired endorsement. Experience working with students of varying ages and needs is preferred.
