South Carolina- Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired (LICENSED) We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, helping them achieve academic success and independence. This role requires a strong understanding of assistive technology, individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaboration with parents and school staff to support students unique needs. Must be licensed to be eligible Key Responsibilities: Deliver virtual instruction to students with visual impairments, adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs Develop and implement IEP goals and strategies in collaboration with other educators and service providers Provide training on assistive technology and techniques to enhance accessibility for students Conduct assessments and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed Collaborate with parents, special education teams, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education with a focus on Visual Impairments Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in South Carolina Experience teaching students with visual impairments, preferably in a virtualsetting Knowledge of assistive technology and tools for visually impaired students Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a virtual environment To apply, please forward your resume to .
