Position Overview: ( MALIN+GOETZ) is seeking a

Temporary Global Social Media Coordinator

to work alongside our communications team. We’re looking for a talented, multidisciplinary creative who can support the execution of our global social media strategy, as well as assist with influencer campaigns, seeding efforts, and reporting. A clear understanding of the social media landscape is essential, along with hands-on content creation experience. This role will report to the Global Social Media + Communications Assistant Manager.

This is a temporary position, 5 days a week with a hybrid work schedule. In-office presence is required Tuesday through Thursday at our NY office. Position Requirements:

Social Media: Assist Social Media + Communications Assistant Manager with execution of the @malinandgoetz global social media strategy across all channels. Assist Social Media + Communications Assistant Manager with development, planning + execution of monthly social calendars. Help manage all social handles daily, including posting, engaging + responding to all activities. Ideate, shoot, and edit social-first content to tell our brand stories and grow our social presence in collaboration with the team. Continuously investigate ways to grow followers + improve content performance. Manage monthly social reporting, presenting key learnings to the team. Influencers: Assist PR agency with cultivating relationships and help position (MALIN+GOETZ) as top of mind amongst influencers throughout various communities. Fulfill influencer product requests on a weekly basis. Communications: Assist with effectively communicating brand storytelling through social in the brand’s tone of voice. Assist with all charitable contributions and donations when appropriate. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience and Skills:

1 - 2+ years of experience in a social media role, preferably within a beauty or fashion brand Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with strong creative and expository skills Experience with social media management, with a deep understanding of popular and emerging social marketing trends Active participation in a wide variety of social media activities such as community development and content creation Ideate, shoot, and edit social-first content to tell our brand stories and grow our social presence, in collaboration with the team Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and the ability to multitask Shares excitement to be part of a small, nimble, and passionate team where a teamwork mentality is required Passionate for the beauty + design industries Excellent communicator who can clearly and concisely convey your thoughts and ideas to any audience in any context Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following. This role is temporary. The estimated hourly range for this position is $25 - $30. The New York corporate office is hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days work from home). Dog-friendly office environment.
