Job Summary The Direct Marketing Manager supports and manages the Email and SMS programs, optimizes program performance through testing, and takes the Wallet Pass program to the next level. This position will collaborate cross-departmentally with other team members to optimize the current Direct Marketing ecosystem for live events. This role supports overarching business goals of maintaining high engagement and retention from new and long-term customers along their journey through intuitive and innovative communications. Essential Functions Discovery and execution on Wallet Pass program to monetize through venue POS integration in order to expand and improve the Wallet Pass program. Troubleshoot and resolve any Email or SMS issues to minimize errors and maintain standards. Work on new Email template, sender profile requests, and new SMS short code requests to build brand value for regional BUs, touring branches, and festivals. Strategize on Wallet Pass program goals, execute setup including wallet creation and distribution journeys, and manage codeReadr services and database to expand and improve the Wallet Pass program. Monitor and report on Email, SMS, and Wallet Pass program performance to ensure optimal value, including conversion and engagement. Participate in strategic planning and testing to optimize existing Email and SMS campaigns and flows to support continual improvement and fan engagement. Document and communicate with the team on program updates such as best practices, compliance regulations, and product processes to drive efficiencies and mitigate risk. Oversee execution of Wallet Pass communications (Email, SMS, Push) to clearly communicate offers and increase show-day participation. Collaborate with Customer Experience Team and manage technical wallet pass questions to ensure the best fan experience. Required Qualifications BA/BS Degree (4-year) in a related field. 4-6 years of experience working with enterprise-level Email and SMS providers; Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Vibes are plusses. Experience with Email HTML, AMPScript, and troubleshooting CSS for email. Knowledge of Wallet Passes (mobile tickets, loyalty cards, coupons, etc.). Working knowledge of SQL. Possesses strong reporting acumen with an advanced Excel background. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, curious, strategic, organized, and detail-oriented. Must have strong work ethic, problem-solving, and prioritization skills. Must be able to manage and delegate to team members. Be assertive and speak up regarding requirements, ensuring team bandwidth and capabilities are clearly represented and maintaining expectations with stakeholders. Ability to work on cross-functional teams. Ability to do discovery and reach out to third-party vendors. Project management experience (working in Confluence, Jira, or similar tool). Knowledge of the music industry is a plus. Photoshop/Illustrator is a nice to have. Salesforce Administration Certification Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (preferred). Pay Scale:
$69,000 - $101,204 AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship. AEG may require an employee to perform duties outside their normal description.
