FIRE SPRINKLER DESIGN MANAGER.
We are seeking a Design Manager for each location in Odenton, MD near BWI Airport. Summary Responsible for management and oversight of a full range of Fire Sprinkler Design for industrial, commercial, and residential applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage the Design Team to mentor, train and develop team members. Provide technical support to the sales team as needed. Provide quality control and direction to produce effective, efficient designs. Review progress with the design team for tracking budgets. Collaborate with the design team, project managers, and field superintendents to identify scheduling issues, material/data procurement and maintain efficient progress. Review material and design specifications for efficient compliance with contract scope. Education and/or Experience NICET III or IV certification required + a minimum of 5 years experience as a Design Manager leading and directing a design team with daily design issues regarding requirements and effectiveness. Computer Skills Minimum of 3 years in AutoSprink. Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Additional Requirements: Experience in the following areas: Pumps High Rise Multi-Family Storage Facilities Data Centers Strong communication skills both oral and written. Pre-employment drug screen.
