You will be responsible for: Monitoring top stories of key interest to our audience. Taking the initiative on covering breaking political news. Finding the appropriate internal and external voices under deadline pressure. Overseeing a daily rundown and input from other producers. Working with anchors and supporting the political news director. Guiding the live show in the control room. You should have a broad interest in global news with a specialized focus on politics, finance, and the economy. You embrace challenges, are a self-starter, can make split-second decisions, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are an effective and collegial communicator across a global newsroom.
