About the Role:

McGohan Brabender is looking for a creative Video Specialist to plan, film, and edit compelling content that drives action. This client-facing role focuses on producing high-quality media while collaborating with internal employees and external clients to develop strategic engagement initiatives. We are looking for someone who is passionate about bringing stories to life.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Production:
  • Create internal and external videos that include testimonials, open enrollment presentations, prospective client videos, etc.
  • Manage live streaming and virtual events when needed.
  • Ability to take the lead in generating and implementing innovative ideas.
  • Ensure all footage meets quality and branding standards for company-wide distribution.
  • Create short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Post-Production & Editing:
  • Edit videos using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
  • Apply color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and subtitles as needed.
  • Optimize videos for social media, website integration, and email marketing campaigns.
Project & Team Coordination:
  • Work closely with the Strategy & Innovation Team to align video projects with company goals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support the execution of media projects.
  • Assist in storyboarding, scripting, and developing video concepts.
  • Maintain an organized file storage system for all video assets.
Equipment & Technical Management:
  • MB Studio Manager: responsible for all video shoots, equipment, organization, and maintenance within the studio.
  • Manage camera, lighting, and audio equipment for optimal production quality.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth video shoots.
  • Keep all media files, footage, and assets organized and backed up.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Periodic travel is required - pack, set-up, film, tear-down on set or on location.
  • Ensure that the equipment for a video shoot is present and in good working condition.
  • Stay up to date on the newest media (video/audio/AI) technologies and techniques.
  • Support marketing and administrative operations. Examples include: converting PowerPoint presentations into YouTube links, distributing content via Dropbox, and creating and managing surveys.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Media Production, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in professional videography or media production with a strong emphasis on filming and editing.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and digital communication skills with the ability to adapt content to varying audiences.
  • Proficiency in video editing software and Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to assist teammates in any capacity to accomplish the goal of a project.
  • Demonstrated creativity, teamwork, and attention to detail.
  • Must provide a reel of your own work .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Valid Driver's License required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and operate equipment for 4+ hours.
  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings regardless of weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and transport video equipment (up to 40 lbs).
