We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to manage content creation and engagement across multiple accounts. This role involves brainstorming innovative content ideas, staying ahead of social media trends, filming and editing engaging videos, scheduling posts, and crafting thoughtful responses to comments and messages. You'll also be responsible for writing compelling story copies that aligns with each brand's voice. Reporting directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and VP of Sales and Marketing.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

This position supports the marketing efforts for our food & beverage outlets, hotel rooms, group conferences, and wedding venues on Instagram and TikTok.

Supports the effective and efficient execution of the Hotel marketing plan through brainstorming, planning, and developing content calendars while also filming and leading content shoots, editing, and creating shot lists for our various social media accounts. Assists in managing our social media image as well as all on-line guest feedback from TripAdvisor, Yelp, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram for all Sun Hill Properties Inc. accounts. This includes regular, creative and engaging posts that will increase the number of followers and our feedback scores for each channel. Leads engagement on social media accounts by replying in our brand voice to each comment, direct message, and email. Responsible for supporting social media strategies by assisting with content creation & copy write. Assists with email marketing campaigns SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

Requires excellent written and oral communication skills Knowledge of the hotel and events industry, current trends and economic factors. Understands the hotel structure and how each department interacts. Is a self- starter with the ability to act independently and accomplish goals on a timely basis Must be creative and have the ability to develop content that is engaging for all written promotions and guest communication. Must possess above average computer skills including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Photoshop or similar Graphics Program, Canva, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Linkedin. Ability to deal with internal and external customers in a friendly and positive manner in addition to being able to effectively solve problems when necessary. Must be organized and can manage several projects at the same time. Must be available to work weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or combination of experience and education

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of social media marketing or content creation

Work Area:

Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.
